Buying a scooter? Here Is Everything You Have to Know

Where Can You Buy a Hover board?

It is already the end of the year and you are considering a possibility to buy one right now? Well, it is still possible, but it is not going to be easy. Several major tradesmen are already sold out or just do not want to supply them at all (responsibility issues are quite real) - so acquiring one before Christmas holidays will be a challenge for you. Going right to one of the websites of scooter manufacturers will be your best bet, or you can install an Amazon alert for one of the more famous hover board brands. Surely, a search for “hands free scooter” on Amazon raises up lots of options, but most of them are just copies which are going to break soon, or even worse.

How Much Does it Cost?

If you find out that your hover board costs under $300, you will probably want to quickly back away. Some of the hands free segway for sale which got best reviews are up to $1,000, although some of them without attaching celebrity reputations can be sold for a cost ranging from $500 to $900. There is not actually a standard price yet, but you should be ready to spend $500 at least.

Which Scooters Are the Safest?

A better question here will be, “Which hands free scooter is not going to explode and then kill me, which will result in my death?” That is a fantastic and quite wise question. There have been published a couple of reports about less expensive versions of such devices which were sold with battery packs of quite low quality which overheat. And after that, you know, they usually explode. Unluckily, such reports have all refused to mention the names—but most of the information claims that units are coming right from China. And there is lots of them.

A great bet is to choose one of the most popular brands: Hovertrax, PhunkeeDunk, IO Hawk, Swagwey and Ninebot are all (at least, most part of them) great names in hover board market. And really, although, when you see an extremely cheap one or some Groupon-type huge discount, you should take a careful look at these specs. And perhaps you just do not get it. It will be better to be safe than end up in the hospital. If this deal seems too great to be true… then it is.
